Well this has been an interesting day.  Trump reverses his own policy and now kids of illegal immigrant parents won't be separated from their parents in immigrant detention centers....

I wonder what is next.

I once dismissed Ben Gibbard as too sensitive, but about ten years later, I began to appreciate him a little  more.

Flock of Seagulls reunited with a gorgeous performance of Space Age Love Song with an orchestra.  I deal with so much b.s. during my workday, that is is reassuring to know that people out there are doing something to make life more beautiful and bearable when you put it on at the end of the day.

A tribute to my good friend from work, Kevin, who I found in the father's day card section at Target.  He invited me to sit with him in the smoker's cage at work today.  Since when does someone invite me of all people to sit in the smoker's cage with them? Not to mention, he's always willing to have a heart-to-heart.  

Looking forward to new music from Interpol.  They're back.  

It took me a while to figure out why I immediately felt the need to post this video after stumbling upon it, but I think what really amazes me most about these kids is their resilience after everything that happened at their school.

Between Scott Hutchinson from the beloved Scottish band Frightened Rabbit, to today's high profile loss, Kate Spade, I've sadly become so numb to hearing about suicides.  Still, we must empathize and tell our friends that it is okay to seek help when they need it.
