I've been trying to figure out if my idea of existential dreads is something original, because I've been thinking about it awhile, or if someone came up with it already.  I searched for some existential dreads online and Bob Marley popped up with some good quotes.

Also in music news, the band Diarrhea Planet announced its farewell tour.  They've been neutralized by a pepto bismal attack.  What a shame.

I saw Beck for free last night.  We got there, two people's friends didn't show up, and they gave us the tickets.  He played Debra, which was used in Baby Driver.  I didn't really have the best concert going experience, but Beck is awesome.  

One great song after another.  I bought Midnite Vultures in seventh grade and my life was never the same after that.

For my very last song on my very last college radio show, I played "I Know It's Over" by the Smiths, and yes, I cried a bit.  

Hoping for the health of Elvis Costello, who is recovering from surgery.  Would love to get him back to full health so I can see him play.  

Smashing Pumpkins are back.  Touring with original drummer Jimmy Chaimberlain and original guitarist James Iha.  

I am truly happy with this past season's American Idol winner.  I really hope that she becomes the unique pop artist that we need right now.  

My favorite band name I've heard in a while.  Punctuation does save lives.
