Today in the news, someone was bitten by  a crocodile that once belonged to Fidel Castro, which now lives in an aquarium in Stockholm, Sweden.  How odd.

Yesterday, we lost one of the greatest in indie rock history and one my personal favorites, David Berman.  Whenever people wanted to hear something that was just completely out of step with what everyone else was doing in the best kind of way, I would recommend American Water.   I owned most of his albums, as well as his book of poems Actual Air.
He had his demons, and I suppose it was his time.

What a week it has been.  Clairo's long-anticipated debut full-length is finally out.  Also, quite a series of debates this week, with some lower-tier candidates having very good showings.  

Also, some interruptions during the debate, where people protested the police brutality that led to the death of Eric Garner.  Candidate Cory Booker later praised the demonstration.
