A recent conversation with friends about how no one liked the Star Wars character Jar Jar Binks led me to discover this recent video.  
Well I actually liked him, and props to this guy for what he did and his talent.  It would be a great thing if people could be a little bit more cognizant of what people around them are feeling, instead of just thinking about themselves and their own accomplishments all the time.    

I have a pinched nerve.  Hip hip hooray.  I got an EMG today, where they basically give you little electrical shocks and put needles in your muscles.  Sounds a lot worse than it is.    It felt like when you touch the door knob and get shocked, then getting a couple of flu shots which I never found to hurt.  I expected the electric chair and got a door knob shock.  



New Tame Impala track is absolute bliss.  I think they're one of the best bands out there right now.  

What a bizarre country we live in, where a well-known TV actor stages a hate-crime, then somehow he is able to get acquitted, when there are people who truly experience that kind of crime and not many people hear about it.

Amazing that the Meat Puppets are still making music.  Famously covered by Nirvana on MTV Unplugged, but a great band in their own right, known for more than just their 90's hit "Backwater."

I was a big Scott Walker guy.  He's gone now.

Just got back from a Lionel Big Band Concert with my dad.  Although I didn't take any pictures, I did appreciate the event.

In other news, Rob Gronkowski is retiring, so that's good news for any team trying to beat the Patriots.  Also, Dr. Dre's daughter got into USC....without the help of Laurie Laughlin.

I seem to have caught the injury bug.  I've been trying to come back from my knee problem, only to start having problems with my right hand/arm/shoulder.

Okay, so I like Beto, but I guess he does move his hands a lot.  He probably doesn't care that he is being parodied, unlike Trump, who would just tweet about how Fallon is an idiot or something like that.  
  But I don't really get why some people got mad that his wife didn't speak in his video where he was declaring that he is running for president.  I suppose they saw that as her being a docile person without thoughts, whereas they wanted her to be Hilary Clinton or Michelle Obama.  But hey, it's only one video.  

Beto O'Rourke is officially in the presidential race.  Maybe he can be the person to unite our very divided country.  He joins a crowded race for the Democratic nomination that includes Cory Booker, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Amy Klobuchar, Bernie Sanders, and maybe....Joe Biden.  

All this after the GOP tried to smear him for his punk rock past.  Ok, since when is it a crime to dance in college like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, or play to punk rock music? Are we puritans?

"I don't care about school." - Lori Laughlin's daughter, who posted videos of herself after her mom came up with a scheme to get her accepted to University of Southern California.  Sounds like a lot of people I went to school with, especially the brats of the alumni fund donors.  

So many questions in this world.  Is Beto O'Rourke in? Is Beto O'Rourke out? How about Joe Biden? I don't really have a candidate who I favor yet, but I just want our country to revert back to a country that I was proud to live in.
