At first I was thinking, do I really want to hear a song that Grimes said she wrote for Rihanna, but then I started watching the video and I said WHOA!

Oh the War on Drugs made one of my favorite albums of the year.  Now they have this new video to go with it.

Angel Olsen's newest album is unstoppable.  

Also, R.I.P. Phillip Seymour Hoffman, who appeared as Lester Bangs in Almost Famous, a movie that (probably) influenced me (for better or for worse) to do music journalism and rock out, but not with my you-know-what out.  

I just can't stop appreciating creativity.
