Today, we lost Mark Hollis of Talk Talk.  I listen to  the albums Laughing Stock, Spirit of Eden, and The Colour of Spring, which record collecting crate diggers around the world know are some that not many people have heard, but those who did hear about them usually give them a 10/10.  Oh, and he also wrote that song "It's My Life," which was covered by No Doubt.

It is just crazy to see R. Kelly finally go to jail for his sex cult or whatever it was.  About 5 or 6 years ago, I saw him in concert and he happened to be headlining that festival, and I just considered him another artist to add to my list of artists I'd seen...  

There's always that question.  Can we still listen to artists we enjoy when they disappoint us terribly? "I Believe I Can Fly" was and still is a great song.  



It is true that I wrote a poem a few days ago about catching a tiger by its man parts.  Hopefully, this is not something that would be used to smear me in future political campaigns.  No, I do not advocate for the sexual assault or harassment of animals.

Glad St Vincent got a grammy the other night.  I'm glad that I saw her in concert when I did.

At the top of the news, a female tiger was introduced to a male tiger at a zoo in hopes that they would mate.  Instead, the male tiger killed the female tiger.  Maybe it was something she said.

I'm sure if Christina sang something to me, she'd sing something nice about me.  

I recently read an article about someone who is suing his parents for having him.  How sad is that? But funny, because it is just so sad.  

Ariana Grande has new music out this year, already.  And Toro y Moi.

I've been reading up on Beto O'Rourke, a potential presidential candidate.  He was in a punk band while attending Columbia, and he played with Cedric Bixler, from At the Drive In/The Mars Volta! He liked a lot of stuff that I listen to, like Fugazi and Jawbox.  Of course, the conservative party is trying to parlay his punk-rock past into something against him! Who says that people with interesting musical backgrounds can't have quality political careers?
Also, he apparently has a DUI which people already knew about and it hasn't effected his political career so far.  Of course I don't approve of those, but I am willing to dismiss that since he seems long past it.
